To update the driver, simply uninstall the current one from your computer using Add or Remove Programs and then download it again from its official website. The driver supports Windows 7 on both architecture versions. If the driver fails to install, use the manual way from Device manager by pointing the install window to the installation folder in Program files.

This error is caused by the driver you have installed. Try to update it from its official website and then it should work normally. Download the right driver for your version of Windows 7 (32 or 64).
